Adjusted the bass and treble on the Bose Acoustimass unit. If you were sitting on the couch during a heavy bass TV event, it would feel like an earth quake. Much better now.

Thanks Jor, I have the same set up for my Acoustimass and have always wondered how they put it where it is, ounce I found it. I have not needed to get to it yet but may in the future. That picture tells me a lot. You can learn a lot on this forum by just being observant.
Thanks again.

JC,
Here's another photo. On the back of the Acoustimass (you gotta love that name!) there are two adjustment knobs, one for the bass and the other for the treble. My bass was adjusted all the way. I turned them both to the middle position and it seems about right. The knobs are shown with the red arrows. The couch facia is held on by two square headed screws (#2) shown with the yellow arrows. The Acoustimass is pretty light and there's a plastic strap that's supposed to hold it in place. Mine is just laying there unsecured and is just fine.

Thanks jor, I will make the adjustments. I like bass sounds but too much is too much, I guess one could use the couch as a muscle relaxer, just crank it up. jc
