Pressure Pro readings wrong

Today after finishing the tv upgrade I went to ck the air pressure as the pressure pro indicated they were all low.  Got out the new truck style pressure gauge to ck.  Put some air in the front to 100.  Cked the back and they are at 92.  Pressure pro saids 88 and 95 on the front when the gauge saids 100,  Same for the rear gauge saids 92 and pressure pro saids 82 or 81. unplugged the pressure pro and plugged back in.  waited for new reading to be sent from tires /  Same readings all wrong according to the gauge.  Any ideas??? It was reading low when I left the storage warehouse, but did increase as the tires got warmer so the pressure pro is reading something?? Tks DAN

Dan,

Run your gauge by a large tire dealer and check against their calibrated gauge.  Most have a good fixed gauge built into their shop air system.

I have found our PressurePro readings to be within one-two pounds of both my good quality truck style gauges.

So are my PP readings. Have been (accurate) for over 6 years.

I will get the gauge cked.  You are right as the PP has always in the past been right on.
It is either the gauge or the PP.  Will start with the gauge.  Tks DAN

OK got the gauge cked and it is correct.  So the Pressure Pro is incorrect or a sender is stuck. At $50.00 each these senders should be able to trade in or rebuild.
Does anyone know the support line to Pressure Pro or a good person who reps them who could answer my questions??  Tks DAN

Dan,

Ask that question of Tim at RV Cams.  I think he will share how to swop them with Pressure Pro for $25 per unit.

Rudy:  RV Cams was very helpful.  Gave me Pressure Pro support phone #.
800-959-3505.  They want me to take the sensor off and leave off the tire for 2 minutes.
They think I did not give it enough time to reset. I will try this in the next couple days as the coach is in storage.  The batteries get weak they will just stop sending completely so no signal. Support says the pro should be accurate. I am to call back if still a problem.  Tks DAN

Dan,
I do not know if you are using a laptop for VMspc, but I have encountered issues with my TPMS (not PP) at times.  I always placed my unit on the left side of the dash and all was good.  I then moved it to the center dash next to the laptop and the readings would go crazy after about 20 minutes.  I called customer service and they stated my repeater was bad and they sent me a new one.  It did the same thing.  My wife then informed me I moved the unit from it's usual spot and maybe that was the issue.  I'm sure to much RF from the laptop interfered with the readings.

Just a thought.

Brad:  I do keep it in the middle of the dash above the coffee cup tray.  No laptop but I plan to add.
I will move it anyway to see if there is something there interfering with the unit.  Tks DAN
