Factory installed pressure regulator

Within the past two weeks I have noticed my water pressure drop about 30% after a few seconds of turning on a faucet.  I found the culprit to be the factory installed pressure regulator behind the outside water faucet in the service bay.  I knocked out the piece that regulates the water with a punch and put the unit back together.  These regulators get plugged up or go bad from time to time and I will use the regulator I carry with me to attach to the water supply at it's source.  I just can't see having to remove the panel, etc every so often to change it out.

Mine was more than that, but did replace that too.  Had to run vinegar through the whole system and remove and clean  the faucet aerators and even the toilet valve to get all the hard water calicium removed.  Replaced the shower wand as I could not get that apart.

And how is the weather down in Rockport???
