Awning and pop rivets

I found the center of my main awning has a "wrinkle" in it when extended.  After some searching I found the fabric and pulled away from a pop rivet leaving a hole in the fabric.  Has anyone encountered this and if so did you just put a new pop rivet in next to the old one or repair another way?

If it is a Zip Dee call their factory. I have found their customer service to be very accommodating. They are near O'Hare (chicago). If you need phine number, let me know.

We had the same problem, We actually drilled out all the rivets pulled the awing tight drilled new holes and installed rivets 3/16x 1/4 be careful to line up the stitching down the tube so the awing rolls up straight.
Good Luck , I was really easy after I got over being scared to drill holes in the tube...

Did as ZipDee recommended, drilled and installed rivets 1" on either side of the one that pulled through.  Then drilled and put new rivets in the ones that are starting to pull.
