Bose Subwoofer location

I' starting to think about putting my 95 U320 back together. The interior was removed when I bought it. The Bose subwoofer is sitting in the living room area on the floor.

I have the J lounger sofa. The Bose looks like it fits someplace in the same area as the sofa. I have never seen a picture that showed the black subwoofer so I imagine it is hidden someplace in the sofa area.

Help!

Where ever you install it, avoid the inside of a cabinet.  Ours was inside the cabinet supporting the galley counter top.  Great place to hide to subwoofer, but it made the entire cabinet vibrate.  This created a "raspy" bass and made it impossible to reduce the bass to a desirable level.  It took me awhile to figure this out.  Even replaced the woofer and put it in the same location.  But once I got it outside of that cabinet, the base really improved.

On our 97 U320 it is under the left side if you are facing the sofa.

Thanks for all your help.
Now I know I'm at least in the right area.

Finally figured out why the sub woofer vibrated so much in the cabinet. The speaker is in the back of sub woofer and the vent grill is on the side doing it NO GOOD. I drilled a 5" speaker hole in the back directly in line with the sub woofer speaker thru 2 pieces of paneling with 1 inch inch in between and covered it with a speaker grill. I put some 1 inch styrofoam in between the 2 pieces of paneling for support. Another one of my nagging problems solved. 8) Sounds like it should now.
