Pleated Shade Repair

Can anyone tell me how to take a pleated shade down?  I have one in need of repair & can't figure out how to get it off the wall.  Is this something easy I've overlooked?

Patrick & Delois. There are detailed instructions on this forum for repairing Day-Night shades, just type Day Night shades into the search window. You will get more information than you want.

Look up under the valance with a light. There will be some screws holding in place.

take the screws holding the valance out and get that out the way then yours may just be held in place by 2 metal snaps. If so put your hand up the back of blind and press the snap to release from the blind top rail. Snaps back in place easy.

If your window has two side panels, they have to come off first-screws high and low.  You should then be able to look under the valance and remove the shade without removing the valance.
