Replacing bathroom thermostat

Coach has Aquahot with separate thermostat for third zone in bathroom. On/off switch is missing on thermostat. Anything special about this thermostat or how it's wired? Other posts have mentioned it is involved in bay heat. Can I just get a simple digital thermostat at Home Depot?

That is a hydro flame thermostat which has been replaced by an atwoodt furnace thermostaat, should be able to buy one at an rv repair center or from FOT

I don't remember having an off switch on mine. I just leave it at the bottom of the arc, stays off unless I turn it up. Can I ask why you are replacing it?

Coach at home, plugged in to shore power, not using it but cleaning and doing general maintenance. Anytime it gets cool, fan comes on in bathroom even though Aquahot is off and thermostat is at lowest setting. Only way I've been able to turn it off is with disconnect at entry but this also turns off lights.

Would like to substitute a simple digital programmable thermostat. This gives me an on/off switch and would also let me program bathroom to warm up in the morning before we get up.

The original thermostat is 12 volt dc, no sure if a programmable would work as I think they are 24 volt ac. Also if you take off the cover of your thermostat, check if when the lever is all the way to cold if it opens a contact switch, still lthink the original style is the best bet

Talked to James Triana, says sees no problem with changing to digital thermostat. Replaced Atwood with Hunter programmable, battery powered. Now have an on/off switch, and can program the bath zone to come on in the am before we get up. We keep the thermostats set at 55 in the night, good sleeping but chilly when we get up.
