Where is the main fuse panel

The air conditioning compressor works with a hot wire. Probably a blown fuse.
Where is it located and where are the fuse panels. I am doing this remotely and advising someone else.
The model is a 2000 36 ft u270

Hi Don,

That main panel is located on the front of the bed and should have a fuse for the AC, not at my coach so can't verify.

There is another fuse box below dash in front of the passengers chair in panel as you enter coach, section is removable.

Are we talking about the dash ac or the roof ac? If the dash ac there should be an auto resetting circuit breaker mounted on the firewall. Also if the dash ac is low on freon it will not come on. There is also a bosch type relay that puts power to the ac clutch. If the roof ac does he have 120 to the ac and there is a 3 amp fuse located on the upper control board.

Our dash A/C failed a couple of days ago while driving. I found that the connector to the pressure switch on the refrigerant line had come loose. It appeared to be in place, but was not connected.

We key on, engine not running, the condenser fan was idle. I thought the fan had failed. I started checking the wiring diagram and connectors. As soon as I pressed down on the connector to the pressure switch, the clutch engaged and the condenser fan started running.

In wiring diagram A-6122, I see a 15 amp breaker switch for the clutch and a 20 amp breaker switch for the condenser fan. I see no fuses. The power to the two circuit breakers comes from a terminal on the auxiliary start solenoid.

JD, on my unit the 15 fuse and 20 for fan are on the panel under bed. Below the solenoids are 3 small metal fuses and mine were all corroded due to water etc getting thrown up from engine compartment. They are in a line parallel to each other. The little screws are a  b---- to get at but duable and if you remove the middle one and break it open you may see what I did that it is all corroded up. I replaced them and things started working again.
to stop the corrosion problem etc I have that panel covered now with a heavy plastic cover that is easy to flip up to view all that area and is held down with a spring/vinyl covered curtain wire.

Which firewall are you talking about.
When we hot wire the compressor on the engine the clutch engages and all is well. We added two cans of freon.
This is a dash air conditioning problem .

yes I realise it is the dash that is why I mentioned that they are under the bed on the panel with the solenoids etc on. They are not the usual looking fuses, they are about 1 3/4" long and 3/4" wide pressed metal units and have 2 studs that the wires are connected to. Mine is a 2000 295 and that are the ones I replaced to get cooling rad fan etc to work for my dash. The amount of R134a you need for a complets charge is around 5 1/2 lbs.
