Ceiling trim removal

The vinyl ceiling in my 2001, U 320 has large, central, recessed panels, one in the LR, one in the kitchen area and a third in the bedroom. There is a 3-4'  wide, vinyl covered tim ring around each of these. The "mood" lights are hidden behind these trim rings. In an earlier post in the Yahoo archives, ceiling trim Barry Beam reported these rings are held in place with velcro in his 2003 U320. Is this the case with the 2001?
We're still cleaning this new arrival, Molly wants to clean the area and I want to replace the rope lights. We've already managed to break several of the nylon fasteners holding the trim rings around the central fluorescents - don't want to continue the fractures.

Yes it is the same. Held in with Velcro.
After removing mine a couple of times I found the velcro not holding well and it came crashing down on me at a very bad time. So I added a few matching upholstery button screws to hold it up. 8)

Thanks Barry - would never have had the courage to reef so hard on those trim rings without your reassurance. If they go back up that tight, won't need any screws to help hold them up.

Hmmm.  Knowing there's probably never a good time to have your ceiling crash down on you makes me wonder what's a very bad time.  Care to expound?

I am going to classify a "very bad time" as I am driving down the road and I hear a crash.
I am thankful it was something other than me hitting the vehicle in front of me. 
Although I think I lost the same amount of years off my life.  :o
