LED under-counter light at Walmart

Walmart has 12-volt flexible self-stick white LED 10" strips, two in a package for $18.  Package cleverly comes with 12-volt battery power and a push-button switch so the bulbs can be lit-up in the package before purchase.  Works quite well for kick-panel toe-lighting and we also put some under sink lip.  We connected them to original under counter light switch by our door and turn them on at night. 

Package shows company name as Custom Accessories, p/n 23758W.  They also come in blue LED color.  Each strip has 12 LEDs.

wonder how well the self stick strips will hold up with this heat- if your air is off? can a small screw be used?

Plastic "P" clips can be used if you want to mechanically mount these LED strips. Also the flexible LED strip could be inserted into a clear plastic tube and tube mounted with screws or "P" clips.

These LED strips are quite bright and worth the $9 each considering the wire is already fastened.

Time will tell if these 12-volt LEDs hold up being powered by 14 volts. We like them a lot.
