Mystery Red Lighted switch in bedroom.

When I turn the switch on, the toggle lights up, and it's red.
Since it was off when I bought it, and I don't know what it's good for
I'm leaving it dark.  Is that enough to get an answer ?

Could be docking lights... turn it on then go outside and check.

Edit: we have a rocker switch on the driver's side in the bedroom (under the clock, I think - not my side) that turns the docking lights on and off. The switch that controls the engine heater is at the base of the bed (under our feet) and looks like a household light switch.

Snip: When I turn the switch on, the toggle lights up, and it's red.

In our coach it's a rocker-switch, and powers an outlet in the engine-bay to which is connected an electric block-heater. This may not be the purpose of your switch, but it's easily checked.

We have two of them.  One is for the engine block heater.  One for the water heater.

Where in the bedroom? On the bed frame, on the wall, over the bed, ... ? Does it look like a 120VAC light switch? Does it look like a 12VDC light switch? Can you provide a picture?

In our 1997 U295, there are two switches that fit the description. They are both on the bed support at the foot of the bed. One operates the block heater. The other operates the 120VAC element in the water heater. Both are labeled regarding function.

Lift up the bed. If there is a 110 plug in the firewall that leads to the engine, it is the block heater switch. If not, it would be for the electric side of the water heater. You SHOULD have 2 switches, 1 for each, but maybe not.

It is the block heater.  You guys are the greatest.  If I ever know something about this house, I hope I can pay someone back (forward ?).
