I had that happen, and I have a later model.  I was told that my turn signal arm was no longer available.  It's the dimmer switch for the headlights too.  I used some of that epoxy putty that you can buy in the hardware stores.  Sometimes there is  a display with something stuck together with it.  It worked and that was about 3 years ago.  I intended to file the hardened putty smooth and paint it black, someday maybe.  Not sure if that would work for you.

I will try the epoxy. I know there is something else that uses the same T/S arm and switch.
Foretravel made it's own chassis in 92 so it is hard to cross reference.
I have seen this type arm before but I can't put my finger on where.
If i find anything on it I will let ya'll know. Have a great day.

I believe that is a douglas steering column and is has been used on many different brands of coaches, should be able to find a switch. Is your steering wheel a tilt , telescope wheel?

Turn signals work fine..plastic lever dangling but can still use signals with metal stub from arm..no fingers yet. Called FOTand MOT referred to United Speedometer but not able to reach yet. Called Douglas Autotec referred back to FOT..Meeting a whole lot of nice folks but apparently Older model Foretravel parts getting hard to come by. Still trying though. Have a great dat.

I had positioned the telescoping steering wheel too far down and when I tried to flash high beams by lifting the lever the wheel skirt stopped the travel and I broke the plastic on the turn signal lever. I used JB Weld to put it back together, let it cure for two days (as we were not going anywhere anyway) and it has now held for two trips to Texas and back plus in-state camping.

Hello to all. I used some epoxy on the TS arm and made two trips and it is holding. I am still searching for an original replacement. I may have to go salvage yard hunting. Compiled a list of RV Salvage resources. The search goes on. I will let ya"ll know if I find one. Let me know if I can help you in any way. "Have A Great Day"

No idea if they have the one for our Foretravels-- would need a part number or at least "what it fits".  But, would be good information to file away. Anyone do more research on this?
