Jerry thanks for the info. if you get a chance check out omega.com. I have been in contact with their Tempature engineers and we have concluded that a UWIR transmitter be considered, which is infrared, but I think a thermocouple might be considered due to the location charateristics of the IR, the UWTC rec-1 receiver which includes manuals, support, computer program, etc. would  be used to interface with your computer or some other readout device. The UWTC has 48 channels so you could monitor many other systems on your coach by adding other transmitters, type and function determinate. Since there seems to be little interest in this subject you can contact me by email and we can brainstorm this. jc
