Are the dip switches in the wall control set correctly?

The DIP switches are on the control board that is on the rooftop unit.  You have to get on the roof and remove the cover from the A/C unit to access them.

It is very possible that that is the problem.  Art Twaddell knows how they should be set.  I sent him an email alerting him to this thread that needs his expertise.

I checked the dip switches and found zone 2 off. I turned it on and i get a EE on the panel. I tried re-setting the control but it goes back to EE with the #2 zone on on the dip switch. I am thinking a wire may be incorrect somewhere?

I called Art Twaddell and kicked him in the shins about responding.  He is out working on job.  When he gets back he will make posting to let you know what the DIP switch settings should be.

Phil:  Sounds like you did everything right # 2 AC unit dip switch # 5 needs to be on, When you get EE display, Disconnect the communication cables on #2 AC and do a reset, Does it still has an EE ? Now reconnect, and do a reset, now if EE is still there it  either has a bad communication cable or a bad control board.  Art's Mobile R.V. Service  if you want to talk phone # on website  Art

Carefully check the fuel lines that feed the Aqua-Hot for cracks in the hose right at the brass fittings.  3 locations - both connections on fuel filter under drivers seat and supply that connects to the Aqua-Hot bulkhead fitting.  Some of the 1999, all of the 2000 and some of the early 2001 coaches have the problem shown in the attached photo.  When Foretravel built the coaches, they used 5/16" ID fuel line and 3/8" barbed fittings.  They work fine until the hose gets brittle and cracks.  Fix is to trim fitting and about 1 inch off of hose.  Install correct fitting and reinstall.  I have fixed a BUNCH of them.

Rodger, When you replaced the fittings did you use pressed fittings or just hose clamps w/barbed fittings? Mine have cracks and I plan on changing them.

I just replaced some on a (2001 Foretravel) coach this morning.

I use brass barbed fitting and worm drive stainless steel clamps.

I have a few of the fittings if you need them contact me.  They are real hard to find.

Hose is normally long enough to trim about 1 inch to 1.5 inches from hose.  New connectors and clamps.  Looks like photo below when done.
