You actually don't need to remove the manifold. FT doesn't and Steve didn't when he redid our front sixpack. Just be sure to block and chock before dumping the air, then you can remove the solenoid valves and replace their o-rings one at a time. A little o-ring grease is recommended to prevent damaging the new ones.
Oh, and a nice padded something to lay on while doing this is recommended. I think Steve used some moving blankets.
