Roof questions

Roof questions

The thread on the strange leak got me wondering about how many openings are there in a Foretravel roof? I can come up with: two a/c, two or three plumbing vents, air horns (one or two?), spotlight (do all have this?), bathroom skylight/vent fan (do all have either one or the other?), satellite dish, 10 clearance lights.

What else?

Mine also has numerous screws holding down a drain from each a/c to the rear with a down tube to prevent water draining down the sides. David

The fixtures you listed, plus: refrigerator vent, tv antenna jack or rotator, tv antenna cable, CB antenna, auxiliary cellular phone antenna, radio antenna (front), radio antenna (rear), fittings for luggage rack, two exhaust vents, solar panel, satellite phone antenna and cable (rare, but my old coach has one).

David,
On ours we have 2 radio antennas, CB antenna, cell phone antenna, 2 horns/ with front & rear mounts, TV antenna,1 plumbing vent, vent over stove, sky light in shower, friendly fan over stool, 2 a/c units. holes for mounts for roof rack & fridge vent.
We have no satelite receiver up there, no spot light, clearance lights are on end caps.
It all depends as to the lay out and what was ordered on the coach.

the main thing is to keep them secure. when Xtreme removed an outdated satellite antenna on ours, found some small amount of delimitation under it. Xtreme did not patch the holes but rather re-worked the entire section with new glass, seal. Some would have only patched (sealed) the holes. So David, I guess to me the number not so important as inspect each. I wonder what the frequency might need to be on that exercise? Annual? I wonder if someone noted solar panel that were added? Those may have generated a few holes, but even so, inspecting and keeping sealed I imagine is the key point. Good luck in your searchings.....Mike
