THREE fans-normal?

I didn't want to hijack RRadio's post so thought it better to ask this here.
We have the DD V8-facing the rear of the coach, with the fan mounted blowing rearward. On the back side of the radiator are two electric fans drawing the air rearward. Is this configuration of three fans typical of rear radiator coaches?
We also have, on the driver's side in the engine compartment, what looks like a radiator about 16" square, mounted horizontally, with a fan on the bottom side. Function?

Are any of these fan blades a possible problem such as RRadio had? I don't know if fiberglass or nylon, but the engine fan is undoubtedly running at the same RPM as the engine at cruising speed--about 2500 RPM.

I think the two electric fans on the radiator are add ons and they definitely are not standard for the U300's.
As far as the 16" unit on the side, could be transmission cooler or the condenser for the dash A/C unit.
Yes, your main engine fan is a definite possibility of being fiberglass.  In RRadio's post the cosmetics of identification are discussed - you should be able to see the fibers - especially where there is minor damage on the edges.

As soon as I get the coach home come spring I will be crawling around the engine to check it out.
The radiator was rebuilt just before we bought the coach two years ago. One day I noticed a puddle of antifreeze under the radiator and thought: "OH MY GOD!!" After crawling under the back end I found the lower hose clamp was loose. Quite a pleasant ending seeing as all I had to do was tighten the clamp.
