ice maker

Well, for the first time my coach is making ice on its own.  It's a great thing, mainly because the DW is very happy.  I purchased Kerry's old ice maker - Thanks Kerry!  It was great to meet Kerry and his wife, they live about 2 hours from me, I had no idea.  The most exciting thing about the meeting was my discovery of the touch handle on the porch light!  Mine has never worked, didn't know it existed, but now I just have to see it work on mine!  The archives say it can be some work, but I think I'm up for it.  We've had many occasions where it would have been very handy......

I don't know if the U270 had the touch switch. The one on our '97 U295 started working after I fixed the porch light and the light in the grab handle. The porch light would sometimes come on for no reason that I understood. When I posted the issue, Michelle reported that the "touch light" was a feature rather than a bug. We use it often when returning to the coach after dark.

I would definitely like to meet both of you, thanks!  I was just in Baytown getting a freon leak fixed on it.  I do know my handle looks identical to Kerry's which is a touch.  I haven't had time this week to get into it, but maybe I can take a peek tomorrow - hopefully.....

Steven glad the ice maker worked out for you and it really looks good in your coach.

OH buy the way I'll sell you the lighted handle and you will get the coach as a bonus!...be careful on your trip and hope your family has a good time.
