Cost of headlight conversion

I know I could call but, does anyone know an approximate cost of the headlight conversion?  Should I look at FT, extreme or MOT?  Thanks in advance.  David

David,

Unless something new has happened, MOT doesn't have their own fiberglass/paint shop so of the 3 you mention, FOT or Xtreme are the choices.  I would guestimate a ballpark figure between $2500 and $4000 depending on the lights and vendor you choose and whether or not you do the fog lights.

We went through this exercise ourselves last year and would recommend you don't make a decision on vendor without seeing both products in person.  Several folks here on the forum were generous and allowed us to see and photograph their headlight conversions so we could decide what worked best for us.  There are good aspects to both; for our coach we went with FOT because we preferred the FOT finished product and the coach looks like it was factory-delivered with the new lights.  We had both headlights and tail lights done, but not fog lights.

I called a month in advance and got a quote from Xtreme and FOT to do my headlight upgrade on my 2001.

Then studied all the photos online that I could find ....and also... the comments I was able to pull up online on either site, but in the end i was very happy with the family style warmth at Xtreme.

Rance, the wonderful guy he is, and James and actually............ the whole staff!!!! was not only fun to talk to and 'listened' to my questions and acted accordingly.  (this was REAL important).
,
everything there worked out better than I could have expected.

Xtreme for me the next time.  ron

ron, That service and quality at Xtreme is very well known by many of us,  I prefer the Xtreme shop any time, have had them and Rance to nearly every mod available for my 01 320, including the full paint inc roof etc.  If I need any other upgrades or repair, that is my choice by far.
Did have FOT paint shop do a bit of work, no rush to repeat, was Ok.
Enjoy
