Looking for information on 1995 u280 for sale

Newbie, I am looking at 1995 U280 on e-bay.Does anyone have information on this unit. FMCA # 15239  vin #1F97D5408Sn54116. I have been on Forum for one year.I would to know history of  motorhome. Before Bidding.

Are you sure that is a FMCA # ? It could be a Foretravel motorcade # which at one time registered to a Spokane Washington person.

I am sure you  are right on that. Dealer told me that much, it looks very clean

Hi, Mark. I checked out that rig last week. It's a little rough, not quite like the photos would lead you to believe. Generator wouldn't start, dash monitor kaput, inside was pretty worn. Some body damage along the bottom edge (below compartment doors). Decals faded.

On the plus side, the engine was nice and clean (probably cleaned up there) and the 8.3 fired right up and sounded good. Bulkheads looked perfect. Great stance, of course!

The dealer said he would take care of the fiberglass damage and re-decal it upon request. I think it will go in the 30s. Good luck.

Thanks Jor I appreciate the reply.  The generator repair - new tires - dash monitor kaput - sounds like low 40's investment.  I think I will pass on this one.  Once again Thank you Very Much!  Mark

Mark I was watching that coach also and per pics its very nice. Good to know and hear from people that have there feet on the ground and laid there eyes on it. Last week it didnt meet reserve so it didnt sell, I think it got 33,something , they relisted it a few days later and now no reserve,  Adam
