Or you can go with the redneck solution and just put the TV shelf above the TV compartment. I got the idea from Modern Day Jipzees (Andrew). He put a 32" TV up and said he wished he had gone with the 37". I went with the 37". Just unplug everything and put on the bed while traveling. The TV compartment now houses my media pc and the Dish Network Hopper. The media pc has an HDMI out so it just plugs into the TV as another HDMI input. Paired to a Bluetooth keyboard works great!
We didn't have anything in the bedroom for a long time but finally put a 19" VIZIO E191VA in. I had checked with parts at FOT to get the same mounting arm that David uses and they wanted $180 for it! Found this one Amazon.com: VideoSecu TV Wall Mount Articulating Arm Bracket for VESA 100 LCD on Amazon for $15 and took a chance. It worked perfectly! The only time we really use it is when we are getting ready for bed to listen to the news. We plan to have David put a piece of trim in to fill the gap at the top.
see ya
