AIR LEAK

I have a new problem, I have been chasing a air leak for months. Spending countless hours on my back under the MH. with no leak detected. The compressor would go on about every 4 to 5 hours.  Today I found something different. Yesterday I raised the coach all the way up so I could work under it. After I was done I did not lower the coach to travel mode, I did press the auto level button which it did level. It has not lost air pressure for 24 hrs. Should I be looking for a leaky check valve and which one.

Have you checked to see if you have a leaking ride height valve? If the rubber exhaust cover is missing junk can get up in there and cause it to leak. When we had symptoms close to yours that is where we found one leak at.

Thank you for your reply. I checked the leveling valves I couldn't find any leaks in the valves. I guess the next thing is to isolate the leveling valves and sees what happens. As long as the coach is up (no air loss).

I guess everyone needs a hobby. This MH is my hobby.    Cheers Karl

Out of curiosity, does "up" equal a spacing/inflation of the air bags greater than the nominal ride height (8 - 8.25")?

Wondering (aka WAG - wild-a** guess) if you have a raise or travel solenoid valve leaking through on one of the HWH 6-packs.  We had contamination on a valve seat on one of our raise solenoids a couple of years ago.  It took us months to find the problem (in the end, Pamela and Mike and Jerry Whiteaker figured it out).
