Still looking for sewer hose that mates to original thetford connection and fits inside sewer hose compartment ? What was originally supplied with coach ?

I don't there is any difference in the size of the sewer hose only the end that goes in the hose is different size.

You can buy and adapter to change the fitting on the old Tetford sewer hoses. If you get the adapter you may have to cut a couple inches off your drain pipe but it sure gives you better sewer hose options. I put the adapter on my drain pipe and sure glad I did.

Jimmy,

Any hose up to 20' will fit, so long as the fin is trimmed on the Thetford angled fitting, but it can't have any fitting on the opposite end. You can use push on or screw on connections.

The hose is the same for both Thetford and Valtera connections. The only difference is size of the connector itself.

Actually, the triple-wrap "Ultimate" (I believe it's called) 20-ft hose is just a tad too long when compressed for the OEM sewer hose storage space. In our experience you need to trim off about 2-3 inches.

I have 2 storage tubes as I put one in the centre Bay that is 7' long and keep a longer one in that and the shorter one for quick dumps etc in the origina, tube. If I need a really long one I just join them up.

John , yes , can't seem to find hose that will store in storage tube , the end connections apear too big ,

If you look aty my photo the end is actually hanging out of tube. I put a big wooden skewer thru 2 small holes to hold that clear plastic end in place. It does not have to go in tube this way-simple.

John, I dissconnect it from dump valve before storing it, that way it does not leak. I wash it out good with clear water then put it in tube. A bit of water will not hurt the bay, and the opposite end is blanked off.

I have used the oem tube in all three of my FTs. I have the Thetford fitting on one end and nothing on the other. It fits and the door closes.

I wonder how long the original tube is on later models as it sounds like they may be longer than what was used on mine and others. The reason I put the extra one in was to be able to get a much longer hose in than in the other one. It was because of the fact that some of the sewer connections in Mexico were a few blocks away from my parking spot

If you look in the wheel well you can see it hugging the rear bulkhead. Measures 67" but has room to extend it all the way across.

yes I know were it is Barry I just did not think of extending it and made this new longer one. At least I have plenty of length now with the 2 of them

Interesting about the OEM sewer hose, it at one time fit within the tube just dandy, now after 5 added years, it will not, it does go to the end of the tube, but still a foot sticking out. Just wondering if I am alone with this issue, and just maybe if I extended the tube an additional what ever will fit, would solve the issue.
Why I would need a demo to stuff a soft hose into the OEM tube.

I just twist as I put it in and it goes in without an issue. This hose is 7 years old. I do not leave it outside but pull it out to dump and put it away.

There have been a lot of answers to your original question, yet it seems you haven't seen it answered to the degree you need. Perhaps if you rephrased the question?

Are you asking what brand and length people prefer?

If you are looking for someone to list a "preassembled" hose with ends that mates with the OEM Thetford bayonet fitting, there are none (to my knowledge). Your options are

1) Buy the Thetford end, some "into the campground sewer" fittings (some municipalities/campgrounds require an air-tight connection so a screw in and a rubber "donut" are 2 connection types to carry at minimum) and a "bare" sewer hose, along with hose clamps. Assemble the sewer hose.

2) Use a Thetford-to-Valterra adapter and then you can buy a preassembled, Valterra-compatible hose (or a hose and some Valterra couplings). Again, you'll want a variety of "into the campground sewer" fittings

3) Cut off the OEM Thetford bayonet and permanently install a Valterra connection. Again, now you would buy Valterra-compatible and fitting variety.

I don't know what, if any, brand sewer hose may have been provided when the coaches were new (prior to the newest coaches which appear to have the Drain Master Waste Master Cam Loc system installed).

Help us understand your question better since we haven't seemed to have answered it yet.
