Two air conditioner on a 29'

I have had to run the air a few times this spring and was wondering why does a 29' need two air conditioners? It hasn't reach the 100's, but has reach the 90's.
I start the front one on high speed and set the temp about halfway, but soon have to reset it to low speed as it get way too cool. Running two would keep the ice cream from melting for sure.
I did mention in a previous post that I would like to remove the rear one and install my fantastic fan. The problem with doing that is what to do with the ceiling covering.

I've digress, so back to my wondering, why two on such a small motor home?

In my 34 foot you could run the front one when you were sleeping and the rear one when you were watching TV or sitting up front.

Spend a summer in Texas and you will be glad you have that second AC!  And since the are made in Texas, there is your reason!

Yep... even with cold blowing units here in Southwest Ark there are times when the temp reaches 105 with humidity just as high making the heat index feel like 184..... I am glad to have every thing that will blow cold available.... I don't know just where you spend most of your time but I would never take a good unit off my coach....jmo.
