Rear slide seal replaced
Just a few weeks after we left Camp FT, the wardrobe slide seal sprang a leak. Some may remember the front seal was replaced at FOT a year ago.
This time we were again fairly lucky in that the leak was in a location where we could make a temporary fix while we were parked (photo).
We had the seal replaced at Oregon Motorcoach in Eugene, OR. I am very satisfied with their work, at least so far. The slide works fine. The shop is very clean and has room for 8 or 10 coaches inside. Outside they have a similar number of sites with 50 Amp electric. Water is available on the property. No dump site.
Service manager, Jim Cooley, was easy to work with. My biggest complaint was they wouldn't let me into the shop to watch repairs.
I sure hope this flurry of stuff gets finished before my extended service contract is up!
