Where is the horn relay on a 1999 U295

OK on a 1999 U295 where is the horn relay ??? Gam

The horn on my 99 was part of the smart wheel module under center part of the dash. It was on a board the I puled up. It was black squarish box.  Horn would not ripen as well as a coupe other things.

On my 1991 U300 the horn relay is located on the back of the air pressure gauge behind the instrument panel, and it's available inexpensively on Amazon, and it's easily replaced after you drain the air pressure from the system... I know you don't have a 1991 U300 but I thought I'd mention it for the benefit of anyone else reading this who might be looking for the horn relay.

Thanks John and RRadio .There are 4 relays for the smartwheel inside the center part of the dash.Last week I was in there to reset tank levels and the wire #120 for the horn must had gotten unplugged from the black control box. I checked out the item on the back of the air pressure gauge it's the solenoid valve for the air supply to the horns . Now that I have plugged back in what I unplugged to start with all is well.Gam

Oh sorry, you did say relay not solenoid valve, my mistake.

My comment is not related to the relay or solenoid, but does address a problem with the air horns.

I recommend exercising the air horns on a regular basis. One of the horns on our coach quit working. I sprayed some water into it, applied percussive maintenance with the rubber hammer, and pumped a lot of air through it by pressing the horn button. I stuffed a rag into the working horn to cut down on the annoyance factor while trying to get the failed horn to sound. After a enough high pressure air from the coach's air supply passed, the horn started sounding.

Since that episode, sounding the air horns is part of the monthly exercise routine.

There was a guy with a musical horn on his coach in the campground who was annoying me by playing his horn every night, even while we were trying to record a radio show in the otherwise pristine quiet... so I exercised my air horns until he gave up and shut off his puny musical horn :P  ...but other than that I'm a nice person, really.

Air horns have a reed like valve in them that vibrates from applied air pressure.  The horn may fail due to there being bugs, dirt, trash and who knows what getting into the horn.  A fix is to take it apart, and VERY carefully clean it up, be careful as you can distort the thin reed and then you are looking at replacement.
