Holding tank service bay -- trying to identify the "what's this for?"

A few have previously commented on this "extra" clear hose as pictured -- being something added by a P.O., not factory -- even though from what I know of the first owner, it didn't seem like anything on this Coach (other than the solar panels) is anything but original.

And the caulking I removed to access the area looked like it have never been disturbed before.

As you can see, the hose connects to the black tank above the sonic flusher. It may have been just a "sight-tube" that when full, indicated the tank needed dumping regardless of what the Audit system said. Thing is-- it has a quick-couple connector at the service end of it.

Trying to figure this out.

Any comments appreciated.

I think that is a -NO FUSS FLUSH spray system. There is a check valve built into the fitting at the tank to prevent back flow .Some where installed to clean the upper sections of taller black water tanks Gam

I think Gam is correct. It looks very much like the one on my U300.
