Super cheapo battery indicators

Here are my super cheapo battery indicators installed. I snuck the wires under the drawer for now, will probably drill a small hole between them eventually.

When I show someone our coach, I tell them for extra credit they can tell me what H and C stand for.

I bought 3 of these and gave one to Gary O. They do a great job.

Not so "cheapo" but absolutely necessary for anyone who has or is contemplating a solar system is the Bogart Engineering Trimetric Charging system TM-2025RV: TriMetric Battery System | Bogart Engineering. This gives you so much more than just the voltage. Even if you don't have solar but do a bit of boondocking it's invaluable.

I got mine from Amazon for about $5 each, but I see they are temporarily out of stock:
Easy Instant Car Battery & Alternator Tester - Test Battery Condition &

Here is another source that I found:
12 Volt Automotive Battery/Alternator Tester [Alt Tester] - .99 : Soldering

Yes, I know about the testers that plug into a cigarette lighter, but I wanted more of a dedicated display of both sets of batteries wired directly to avoid voltage drops. Also, it is more of a visual display for other members of the family, rather than just a voltage number. It is more work to run wires back to the battery bay.
