HWH Neutral Hold switch

FYI - On our '03 there is a switch located on the end of the HWH Central Control Box (Mother Board) labeled Neutral Hold (photo attached). This box is on the aft bulkhead of the D3 bay and is closest to the door.
The switch will enable/disable coach movement whenever a slide room is out. I believe the "Room In" sensors must pass a signal that all rooms are fully in before you can move the coach. In our case the previous owner had this switch set to Override and we have moved a foot or so once or twice to accommodate utilities.
I have returned it to the Normal position and tested the operation both ways. If a slide is out when set to Normal, the Allison Control Pad will blink "6" when you press D(rive) and the coach will not move.
Did not find any previous reference to this. Hope it may help sometime...

Yes there is an override in all the slide coaches but they are in different locations depending on the year.  It is needed when a sensor fails or you have to push in a slide room by hand.

Had this problem with my 2001 after picking it up and delivering it to Factory for service last year.  Found I could bump the system on/off or just move the 1 slide an inch then retract it again.  this worked for awhile, then after calling Mark Harvey, found the switch.  Then used the override until I got to factory for service.  For me, it seems to have been an alignment issue, but good to know where you can override the safety feature.

Crazy as mine has been over ridden while at MOT has not been un-ridden, guess they figured I would not be cruising down the freeways with it out :o ?  How trusting.
