Goin' Crazy with the Beep!

Just about ready to leave, ignition on (air up, all normal) but the damn warning beeper keeps sounding. All systems are good so it must be a problem with the beeper. I've read a few threads and I'm about to check out the six packs for the leveling system but I'm looking for ideas. Here's the weird. I CAN'T FIND THE BEEPER. I can hear it under the dash from a specific area but I just can't see it. Someone posted theirs was 3X5 and someone else's was a little round one. Can't find either. On our way to Foretravel btw but I sure can't drive with this thing sounding. Thanks.

I had that on my 95 U320. It was the switch on the TV antenna.
I would be afraid to drive after disabling the alarm until I knew why the alarm was sounding. Could be something important.

OK. I'm up and running. Talked with Mark at FT. Finally found the connector for the beeper although it looks different than those I've read about. Anyhow, with it disconnected, all warning lights are operational, VMS shows all normal, we're level and in travel mode so we're going for it. I'll add this to the FT fixit list. Also, disconnected the antenna to rule that out. Thanks.

WE had that beep continue after the air was above 70 psi. Usually it quit at or just over 70 but all systems seemed OK so we lived with it once. The next start the beep quit at 70 psi and all seemed well. In another post I told of our travel height valve on the RR going bad. I wonder if it was telling us there was something wrong and we just didn't listen with a sympathetic ear? Haven't had the beep problem since the valve was changed.

Keeping that in mind, Larry. Wayne will be adjusting the ride height so I'll ask him for his opinion on the valves. Thanks. Also, I need to tune my ear to sympathetic too.

Well, the annoying refuse to quit beeping beeper remains a mystery. I tried everything I could think of, including disconnecting and reconnecting the batteries. Finally unplugged the gang plug and went our merry way. I put it on the list for FT to check out. The tech reconnected the gang plug and it has worked fine since. Guess you just have to have a technical background to fix this stuff!
