Tires -new-

Having noticed a noise with a front tire , decided to go ahead and go shopping . I checked prices at all tire shops that sold Michelin . Done deal prices for my size [-315-80-22.5  XZA2  L ]  Boy did I ever get a wake up call . Prices went from $977.00 to $ 1,235.00  each. Seeing as I was just testing the water and knew about the FMCA  deal , I got to admit , I did a bit on smiling . The FMCA  price was $535.86 plus all the tax mess etc.  total came to $637.50 , the dealer charged me $ 150.00 to mount  and balance both ,check for roundness under pressure .  Neither tire was bad or needed replaced . The noise was a small chunk of tread , about inch square was missing . The tire mgr. said that is the results from turning the steering wheel while not in motion and most likely on something sharp . I now have spares for the duals and tag axles .That FMCA thing is wonderful.  All this time I thought my tires were "H" and 16 plies , only to find out they are "L" and 18 plies. Oh well not too old to learn .              Brad Metzger

Now that is some sweet savings!  You can take a little and buy Molly and Barney a couple of new toys to celebrate ^.^d

Funny you should mention toys . Yep , Phyllis came home with a bag of squeaky stuff, much to the delight of Molly and Barney. I still have not got Barney to ring a bell . :-(  Brad Metzger
