Stove replacement

I am going to remove the Magic Chef drop in stove/oven and replace it with a xxxxxx less oven in my GV. I never use the oven, I use the Micro/Convection oven above. I will replace the oven with drawers, that I will use.

So what are your suggestion for the xxxxxx gas stovetop model? I also think four burners are a waste.

If anyone has a used/take out one for sale I would be interested in that also.

I LOVED the Magic Chef cooktop that we had in our '93 U225 ... and I WISH I had those 4 burners instead of the 2 burner Gaggenau thing that is in this '02.  If you really don't do much stovetop cooking, consider just a straight countertop and a portable induction 1 or 2 burner cooking unit.  I use an electric frypan for a great many things, and really only use the propane cooking for boiling a pot of something.  Induction seems a interesting cooking method ... ask Dave Katski & Nancy Elkins.

Here are some good quality choices in 1, 2 and 3 burner cooktops.  Size and cut out size are in the document:

Hoping some outfit comes up with an 120 volt replacement for the famed Gaggenau gas unit, I have little use for a stove top burner, but would be nice since he new residential frig is so wonderful and no need for gas.

I just got my new Atwood 3-burner w/oven from Atwood.  After waiting 4 month for the order.  They only run the high end stoves on the production line when they have sufficient orders.  I'll remove the original 3-burner stove top and modify the cabinet  to fit the new range.  We boondock and like the oven.

Thanks for the replies. I'm still looking for ideas.
Carol, I do have a portable induction cook top and like it very much. It will get the job done in a hurry, but I can not use my favorite pans on it. I need to get some nonstick cookware that will work on it, if there is any.
I also have a single burner gas table top unit that works well, but I'm looking for something permanent.

We want one with an oven and sealed burners and saw one Atwood model that qualified. It also has electronic ignition rather than piezo spark... They don't seem readily available. Where didi you get yours and what model did you get? Pictures when you put it in would be nice...

We replaced all of our non-induction cookware with magnetic pots and pans, which we can use in either gas or on our Berghoff induction cooker.  Many many options available, since induction cooktops are very popular in Europe.  Take a magnet and go to (insert your favorite kitchen store here - we like Target).  Also from Amazon:  we got (and like) the 10" Berghoff frying pan and the Ozeri wok.  Also have some enameled cast iron and All-clad stuff.  You can never have too many pots until you have too many.

Don - We ordered it through a local RV repair shop in Phoenix Or.  They had to call the Distributor to get the order going and then the Atwood factory.  When Atwood gets sufficient orders to run the production line, then they build them.  My stove was tagged along with some RV Manufactures order.  If you want one this year,  get the order in now.
