Breaker for microwave

I need to turn off the microwave. I am in storage and only have a 15 amp service. I am running the inverter to charge the batteries and need all the power I can muster. None of the breakers at the foot of the bed show the microwave. Thanks, Larry

Larry,

Not even the exposed breaker panel?  In our '03 the microwave circuit is one of the ones run off the inverter (at least it is in our coach), so its breaker is in the slave panel (in our coach, that's the smaller one at the foot of the bed that doesn't have a cover, and ours is breaker #2 in that panel).

I always just unplug the microwave (easy access in my 2002) when I don't intend to use it for a long period.  There should be a breaker in the inverter panel (at least there is in my 2002), since it won't be in the primary 110V panel.  I'm not sure what may have changed by 2004, tho.

The microwave shouldn't draw any significant power if you don't use it. Why not just leave it connected?

Thanks. There is an inverter panel and it is at the foot of the bed. My problem was that it is so high up that I could not see it because I failed to raise the bed skirt up high enough to see it. This forum and its individual members are great. Thanks again. Larry
