Windshield washer container relocated

Our coach has a 8,000 watt generator with its belt driven fan & radiator mounted on the genset, so we do not have the separate cooling fan and radiator in the left-side forward compartment.

We relocated our washer tank from inside the left front compartment forward wall to the other side of the wall to give us more room in the compartment.  We used the same mounting holes.  The 'other side' is just to the rear of the headlights in the open unprotected space. 

This compartment is not sealed from the elements and is in direct line of generator radiator fan, so it can get a bit warm when genset is running.  We store stuff in the compartment that we do not want to get warm, so we fit a one-piece of aluminum Refletix (Shop Reflectix 25-ft x 48-in Reflective Insulation at Lowes.com to cover openings.

In anticipation of installing new air bags, we cut out an access hole to help remove the difficult to reach nut on the nearby airbag.

  Good use of that space. Great job. Sure will be easy to access the front top of the airbag.

Another good idea!  How do you fill the reservoir?  Does it drop down?

O' darn, never thought about the reservoir getting empty. May have to get a new coach if it runs out...

But there is an alternative. . .
We use an inexpensive short plastic ball-valve that screws on to an anti-freeze gallon, and we turn it upside down in the space over the coolant overflow container. While upside down, turning the valve open fills container.

I figure that I could use the same ball valve to fill the windshield washer reservoir. Also the reservoir can lift up out of metal bracket, so that could be another way to fill it up.
