Brake Valve replacement on 92 U225 GrandVilla

Hi to hall. Has anyone ever changed the brake valve on a 92 U225 Grand Villa? We bought a new valve from MOT. They were backed up so we bought the valve and hope to change it now that we are home. Need some type of replacement procedure to look at before we get into this task. Your experience or a reference would be greatly appreciated. It is brakes and we don't overlook anything. The experience level here is unmatched. Thanks and Happy and Safe Travels to all.

Robert,

Tell us what brake valve you are replacing:  parking brake valve, service brake valve, etc.

Sorry folks for the error. I am changing the treadle valve for the service brakes. We developed a major leak to the front brakes in the valve. Understand it is a heavy task
and would like your help. Have a great day>

I would start with numbering all air lines and then draw a picture of where they are located and then disconnect the lines. then remove the treadle valve and transfer the fittings from the old valve to the new one. It is a little time consuming but I have changed quite a few of them. You have to remove the pin that holds the pedal on and then there are 3 bolts that bolt the valve to the floor.

That seems pretty straight forward. I was looking to see if anyone found a glitch in the process I could identify before we start.
We will do this Saturday Morning. I will let you all know the outcome. Thanks for the help again. Best site great people.
Have a wonderful day.

Actually start by bleeding the air system down to ZERO.  Lots less drama than removing an air line with 100 PSI in it.
