Mystery motor in Main Storage Bay

While working on the main storage bay plunger light switch (Drivers side); a motor mounted on the inside wall turned on and ran for a few minutes or so and then turned off.  I believe there are some vacuum type lines connected to it.
Does anyone know what this motor is for and what causes it to turn on automatically?  BTW the main engine was not running and the coach was plugged into shore power.

It's the 12V air compressor for the HWH when the main engine is not running. When you level the coach, the computer checks every so often and if one side/end starts to get lower, it comes on.

Piece is correct. And, if you have a slide with leak in the bladder or anywhere else in the system the compressor will be run more frequently.
