Allison Error Code

Anyone have experience with Allison 3060 error code of 23-12 in d1?

Google says fault code 23-12 is the transmission shift selector and to check connections to the back of it (the selector pad) and to the ECU.

Yeah. I got that already. Looking for anyone who has had the fault and what they did to fix it. Connecter resets is generic for a manual.

Can't remember the code but we probably have the same ECU.  These units are notorious for the internal power supply failing and giving all kinds of codes.  Contact Transmission Instruments (John).  German fellow.  He replaces the internal power supply and freeze and heat tests them.  If the internal power isn't perfect you'll have problems.  He had me disconnect my shift pad and ECU, send them to him in TX (I think) and then he sent them back.  He told me if that fixed my problem to then send him $300.  It did solve one of the problems.  I was getting a turbine speed sensor failure code regularly also.  Wouldn't shift out of first till warmed up.  Replacing the sensor and replacing the internal power supply of the ECU solved my transmission problems.

Thanks Dwayne. I sent mine to John last November and have less than 3000 miles since I got them back. I'm checking in to warranty work with him now. Last time I just got the cat eye display and wouldn't start. This time I was driving when 23-12 popped up.
