Anyone using a cargo hitch grate?
Hi all....I was wondering if anyone has used any of those hitch mounted cargo grates over long term? We are pricing a 6' x 3' grate to use for taking our 2 small .49 cc scooters with us to FL. Total weight for them is about 500lbs maybe. I know it's not a issue on the GV side for the weight, I'm mostly concerned on the securment of cargo, bounce and such. The gate I would have made will be quality (buddy works at a defense contractor that welds tank plates) so that I dont see as an issue either. Maybe some of you that have had motorcycle racks for your coach can share some input?
