Water Pump w/Accumulator

Today was the day, so got into the water pump system as the accumulator had gone flat, not able to reserect it, so out with the old, in with the new smaller PVC tank, after all the changing of many PEX fittings, crimps, hose it all came together.

Kept the good pump in line, just changed the accumulator and needed PEX line changes to fit the newer setup.

The end results were like I hoped for, steady flow with pump running much fewer times, all smoother = happiness.
I won this round.

I think the accumulator makes the water system so much nicer than having the pump start up every time a little bit of water is used. I honestly can't believe any luxury motor coach would be without an accumulator, but it was probably a cost cutting measure. It's another example of why I like the superior quality of older equipment better than the stuff built today.

The old pump working fine, so kept it in, just removed the big blue dead tank, installed the $35.00 accumulator from Shurflo, have their big pump but was not a simple hookup, and the old pump was pumping great, so keeping the new $145.00 Shurflo for the next go.
I now have an extra 99.8' of nice blue 1/2" PEX, official crimp tool and lots of PEX fittings, and Lowes has lots more.
The big surprise is the lack of noise, the big part was moving the pump about 2.5" to the right as the new. Accumulator has a wider access, so the simple thing was move pump to the right.  Where the noise went, no clue. Have to listen real close to hear it now.
Bottom line, the system works 100% to my liking.  PTL. :D
