aqua hot for bay heating only

Don Spoor wrote in 2006 that, IF I read it right, you could use the electric only heat source to an AH to heat the bays. Yahoo Groups

I have shortened what he wrote to this.  If I turn the inside thermostat to low temperature settings such that the AH would likely not try to warm the coach, then I could leave the AH diesel heat source Off and warm the bays with only the electricity heat source to the AH.  That way I could handle down to 25 degrees or so while temporarily stored and not leave the diesel on.

Agree?

Yes, that's right if you set the bay thermostat at about 50 degrees.

Thanks Brett.  I checked this morning and kept bay at 50.

Barry and Cindy told me a couple of weeks ago about some 200 watt heaters and then Steve told me he had some in his HR.  I think both told me they got them at Walmart but not seen them recently.

Found them at Amazon for $19, lasko my personal space heater.  If you want a thermostat, they are about $25.  HR though no 110 outlet where he needs, not sure about our coach, gotta check, but think I can fix that.  Still, maybe just use the AH.

Thanks Brett.
