Anyone using a 7 inch Field Monitor?

After thinking of a way to preview my DSLR shots,
wondering if someone added a few Dollars toward a better monitor? pc

How about a jailbroken iPad or any Android tablet? 7" would get you high resolution. I use a 10" iPad and 9" Droid and am quite happy for fotos, etc. Can also use them for GPS with TomTom, Sygic and apps like Allstays with their internet capability plus a million other uses. From $$$ for an iPad to a little over a $100 for a high res Droid.

Not all Androids are equal. Some are the equal of an iPad, others not. High end Asus Android tablets and iPads are about same price, features and quality.

I use a 7" Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 wirelessly linked to my coach PC using the splashtop app.  It makes a great VMSpc display.  I can use the Android apps or Windows 7 at the same time.  The coach PC can connect to my iPads as well using the Airdisplay app.  They too can display VMSpc or any Windows app or do what iPads do.

I was going to install a fixed display but these work very well.

I have an camera at home that I can see what it is seeing and make it pan, tilt or zoom from anywhere using any device (ipad, android tablet, iphone, pc) and hear what is going on. Should be able to do the same with wireless rear or side view cameras.

Tech is changing so fast.  If you can imagine it it is probably available or it will be soon.
