Glad you like them. Excellent for removing and repairing water pumps, adjusting valves, etc. Lots of diagrams and examples. Will try and get the DDEC II manual scanned into PDFs before summer. There are differences between the turbo engines and non turbo but will have to wait on that one.
They have made over three and a half million of the 2 cycles so far since 1940. Made in Germany now, they are the engine of choice today for cost is no object military generators, etc. around the world. I was stunned when I looked at the 8V-71 series service manual when we re-powered our fire trucks. 4" inches is right. A million adjustments to make to get it just right for injector timing.
