'91 GV Safest, Best Method to shine up exterior decals?

Hi, mine are uneven looking, and only peeling a tiny bit here and there. I'd love to get them shiny, and even looking again, they are sort of fade blue in some places.

I scrounged around in old posts, but can't find advice.

Thanks

Don't put wax on them :o!!!  About the only safe thing is 303® Aerospace Protectant - 303® Aerospace Protectant 32oz.  You should also be able to use Aircraft RV Cleaner Waterless Wash Wax Detailing Products Supplies.  Both those products offer excellent UV protection.  And you can use both on your whole exterior!

You will have to take a razor and trim the peeling sections.  And do not wash with a high pressure water sprayer.

Oh :o , glad that I asked then, as I was just going to try a gentle polymer wax in the morning...

Years ago the shop used to superglue the edges of loose decals.

Polymer is not a wax, it is a synthetic product.  Wax will dry out your decals.  I don't know what Polymer would do to them.

Bob, that is brilliant, I will try the Super Glue in the morning. Maybe a small spot of glue, pressed into place with a coffee stirrer or such..?

Thanks for the other suggestion, now to find out who carries that product up here in Canada.

Shiny is different.  The 303 would be my choice

I'm also sold on the 303 protectant.  I used it last summer and it has held up well but it is time to apply again.  Just make sure your decals are as clean as possible for better results.  My decals were very bad but this product really brought them back to life after couple of applications.  It is also good for just about everything else.
