Fiberglass dilemma

LSS, on our way north we experienced diesel issues with the Aqua-hot.  We had the unit serviced last fall at the FMCA rally by Master-tech of Elkhart IN and only being only 40min from Elkhart, we decided to bring the coach there to have it repaired.  In the parking of lot of M-tech we caught the passenger front corner of the coach on a frozen pile of snow and tore a small piece of the fiberglass apart which moved the old headlight frame.  We thought it would be a fairly small job to glass it back together.  However, after a quote from M-tech for $2500-$2700 we are considering having the headlight upgrade done.
Our questions are:
-has anyone had any body work done by this company?
-is it cost effective to have FOT or X-treme Graphics send a front clip to be installed and painted?
-should we cobble it together for the time being and wait to bring it to TX for the upgrade?

We'd appreciate any insight or experiences the forum may have

Bill,

There are three places in Nac for the headlight conversion.  They are Xtreme Paint and Graphics, Xtreme Paint and Graphics and Xtreme Paint and Graphics.  Pick any one and you will be most pleased with the experience and result.  I sure am.

an insurance claim will make the headlight upgrade pretty cheap but you might get a higher insurance rate going forward.

We hit a deer last year and damaged our front end. We did file an insurance claim and our rates did not go up.

Stop, call Xtreme, talk to James.

Thank you all for giving us your opinions.  We've decided to wait on the upgrade until that time we are in TX again to have James do his magic.  We'll submit an insurance claim and put those $$ towards the cost of the upgrade.  We'll just have to drive it with a slight hair lip for a time.  :(

Thanks again
