AQUA HOT ISSUE

AQUA HOT RUNS PREFECT FOR 20 MINUTES THEN STARTS TO SLOW WHILE MAKING RATTLING NOISE OR CAVATATING. SMOKES AND SLOWS TILL STOP. FLIP SWITCH OFF THEN ON AND STARTS AND RUNS FINE??? I BENCH TESTED MOTOR AND TURBINE FOR 30 MINUTES AND RUNS FINE. SHOWS NO WEAR IN BEARINGS OR TURBINE??
HELP?

Jerry,

Just got in from working on AH all day.

Roger Berke has a service program that for a flat fee of $200 including shipping, he will check out the burner and Control Unit in his shop.  The test will be under a load with the equipment needed to monitor the voltages and rpm to see what is going on.

If you contact Roger through his website, he will e-mail you a drop off label and instructions.  You would pay for any faulty parts and get a properly operating burner back.

Running the burner on a bench for 30 minutes with no fuel connected is not good for the fuel pump.

I would guess that like mine the bearings are bad. I also replaced the motor. Roger is the man. He did mine and was during this winter. Ship time and repair was under a week. Works perfect now. Pretty easy to remove he will help you with all of it. A very nice person. $200 is a very very far price for labor. 5 star to me.
