Ockham’s Razor

For the benefit of the tiny minority of readers who might be as stoopid as I am, I'd like to point out that the simplest possible solution to a problem is most likely to be the correct answer. So if you discover that your charger doesn't work don't take the thing out of your coach and try to figure out what's wrong with it only to discover you accidentally turned off the breaker in the panel on the front of the bed, just saying... and of course when you discover a couple of weeks later at a different campground that your 120 volt AC powered air compressor doesn't work don't take the breaker panel in front of the bed apart, remove the breaker you think is bad, discover that half the panel is dead, and then notice one of the 50 amp breakers in the campground's power pole is dead... Doh!... not that any of you would look for a complicated problem when it's really a very simple one... cuz yer smart :)

Ockham's Razor (William of Ockham c. 1287 - 1347) states that among competing hypotheses, the one with the fewest assumptions should be selected.

Scott, I agree. I have had several similar things happen over the years. Especially when I worked on banking equipment. Sorry but I had a good laugh at your expense. Thanks

...and never ever jump to the conclusion that you cracked a cylinder head just because you see rust on the dipstick when you check the oil... especially if it was a pouring rainstorm the last time you checked the oil and you got water all over the dipstick... nope, I'm not even gonna consider that... at least not now that I've remembered Ockham's Razor :))
