power

A few days ago, I decided to exercise the generator.  I unplugged my 50 amp cord and ran the generator for about 2 hrs with a load.  Everything worked great.  Turned off generator and plugged coach back in.  Nothing inside that runs on regular electricity is working now.    The 12 V lights etc still work and there is power coming into the coach.  I reset my built in surge protector but no change.  started up generator again the next day and everything worked fine.  Plugged in again - still not working.  any ideas?

Sounds like a bad ATS (Automatic Transfer Switch).  From the ATS onward, the wires are the same, so if it runs on generator, but not shore power, the problem is between the CG outlet, shore power cord, shore power inlet, wiring from there to ATS or in the ATS itself.

Our U300 has always had a somewhat like problem. Sometime when we plug in shore power, it won't come on for several minutes. Have had it shut down when we were using the AC on a small extension cord and could not reset for at least 30 minutes. I'm just too lazy to take it apart until it gets worse as most the time, it works perfectly.

How about going to the "settings" page and including your name and Foretravel model? Couple of old posts on how to do it if you use the "search" box. See you have posted 4 times so welcome if you have not heard it yet.
