HWH computer failure

FT just gave me the bad news that my HWH computer isn't controlling my tag bags right.  HWH has one in stock.  They want $1,500.40.  Can I get it repaired?  How do I get info from them?  I've read about long wait times for call backs.  Do they do component repairs quickly at a reasonable price?  Do I have to go to Iowa or can I ship it to them?
Regards,
Brett

Would not take anyone's word on the computer failure, especially at $1500. Here is a link to the troubleshooting manual. Very easy to follow directions to isolate the problem. Works with tag also.

Brett,
Using the HWH troubleshooting step by step guide I determined that my control box was malfunctioning. I called them and described the symptoms. They gave me a control number and I mailed it to them. They advised me that the in-shop turnaround time would be three days. They also advised me what the maximum charge would be. Good luck.

I have worked with HWH on numerous occasions and they have been most helpful every time.  They provide wonderful support and do not appear to go for you wallet first, as some do.  I have purchased parts directly from them and they have helped to install.  I would give them a call and share your symptoms.  :)

We had a failure of the HWH control box. I went through the unplug/plug drill and checked fuses. Could not find or correct the problem. Shipped to HWH. Turnaround was about two weeks including all shipping. Charge was less than $100 to repair a bad connection. Replacing one or more bad components would probably be more expensive.

There is a "Contact us" form on their website.  I used that and got a quick reply from Joe Portelli.  I cannot say enough positive about them and their help.  Sadly, parts are NOT inexpensive, but they will help you determine exactly what is wrong.  Phone calls seem not to get a response as quick as emails did.
