day/night pleated shade ... need advice

My first string finally broke.

This is the shade between the sink and stove in the kitchen, I found three screws, took them out, and the valence came off. Now, how do I get the shade to come off? I see no more screws. There appear to be two brackets behind the headrail, but neither the brackets nor the headrail budge. What's the trick?

Assuming I get it off, how do I restring these shades? All the instructions I can find are for shades you push up or down, but these have two pull cords.

Pull cord shades should be pretty straight forward. Straight up through the pleats and through the locking cam. Never done specifically RV ones, but residential ones, yes. Just have two sets of strings. One terminates at the bottom of the night portion, and the other goes all the way down to the bottom of the day portion. Sounds easy. Probably isn't. Good luck. Let us know how it goes. You will then be the subject matter expert.

To remove the shade push a screwdriver between the shade and the window and depress the latch on the bracket.  Shade will pop out. Disassembling the shades is relatively easy.
