Help - MCD Shade Broken...

I rolled the Night shade on the windshield up this morning with the switch; noticed it was a little jerky, but it went all the way up. Then on examination I found the end of the roller tube on the driver's side had fallen down. Looks like the only thing holding it is the fabric where it folds over the lower Day shade tube. There is no spindle or axle extending from this end of the tube I can feel, but there is a hole in the bracket that looks like one should fit into.
Any experience to share on this?
I can't find a parts list on MCD web site. ::)
I will call them on Tuesday, but we have to move that day too. I am hoping when DW gets back tomorrow to be able to raise Day shade (my arms are just a little short to reach switch and hold up the broken tube) and then tie the tubes together for travel. Worry it will put too much load on the good tube.

BTW, Steve & Michelle, thanks for the Memorial Day graphic.

Just a follow-up to close this. We did fix this with help from Bill V at MCD. Their support was excellent and the repair parts were sent free even though we are a year out of warranty. Happy, happy, happy!
It turns out they do not have a parts list for the duo windshield motor driven shade system, but if you have other shades they they do have parts lists.
I have attached my notes on the repair in case it might help someone else in the future.

Dick, you are a gem for posting the repair details.  Thanks.  I hope Barry also places this repair summary in beamalarm.com

Dick,

Thank for the excellent post.  I have saved your instructions to my Evernote program so I always have it.
